Roper Music is a local music store that has partnered with Fort Mill Schools to provide most of your instrument needs. You can rent/buy instruments, purchase mouthpieces and reeds, cleaning supplies and other items for your instrument. Roper Music also performs instrument cleaning and repairs. Music for All (MFA):
Also known as MFA. MFA is the parent organization for BOA; in addition, MFA hosts several other events/activities. Members of Carmel Bands have attended the Summer Symposium, a week-long music camp at Ball State University. MFA has several national honor ensembles that students can participate in as well.

Bands of America (BOA) is a national organization that provides high school marching bands with performance opportunities, educational resources, and competitive events. BOA was founded in 1976 and is a division of Music for All, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting music education and advocacy. Drum Corps International (DCI):
Drum Corps International (DCI) is the world’s largest organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the art of drum and bugle corps. Drum corps is a highly competitive and physically demanding activity that involves marching, playing brass or percussion instruments, and performing intricate choreography and drill. DCI is responsible for organizing and overseeing a variety of drum corps competitions and events throughout the year, including the DCI World Championships, which is held annually in August.

Carolina Crown is a world-renowned drum and bugle corps based in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Founded in 1988, Carolina Crown is a youth organization that provides young people with the opportunity to learn, grow, and perform as part of a highly skilled and competitive drum corps.

The Percussive Arts Society (PAS) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting percussion education, performance, research, and appreciation throughout the world.
