Background

In a typical year, the cost for students to participate in the CRHS Band is approximately $2,500 per student. The school district provides some funding, but it is essential for the band to raise additional monies to achieve a high level of success.

The school district imposes a $100.00 activity fee to cover transportation costs for the band. That is NOT included in the band fees as it does not go to the band program. You pay this online directly to the school.

What are the band fees for 2024-2025?
Marching Band Fees for the fall of 2024 are $1,200 per student (optional indoor groups are separate). Fee payment schedule is as follows:

  • $150 Deposit due March 26th, 2024
  • $250 Due July 8th, 2024
  • $250 Due August 8th, 2024
  • $250 Due September 8th, 2024
  • $300 Due October 8th, 2024

There is a multiple student discount of $50 per student if you have more than one child in the band. There is a discount of $50 if the full payment of $1,150 is made before July 8th, 2024.

What do the band fees I pay to the booster club cover?
Student meals, medical supplies, music, drill, props, flags, equipment transportation, specialty instruction, contest registration, uniform maintenance, administration, etc.

What additional items will I need to purchase?
If your student does not already have them (or has outgrown them), they will need to purchase marching shoes, gloves, and other section specific items. Black calf-length socks, black compression shorts, and a one gallon water jug are also needed. Colorguard members additionally need to provide warm-up, duffel, dance shoes, gloves, tights.
