At the high school level, all students participate in the Catawba Ridge Marching Band during the majority of the fall semester. The Marching Band includes approximately 100 wind players, 26 percussionists, and 38 color guard members. The Catawba Ridge Marching Band serves as musical entertainment and support of the varsity football team at all home games. In addition, the band prepares and performs a musical and visual program for marching competitions, including the SCBDA state marching contests, Bands of America competitions, and other local events. The CRHS Marching Band also participates in local parades.
